each other on a daily basis. CAAEL PE combines ideologies of
sportsmanship, cooperation, teamwork, positive collaboration, and
empathy with the goals and procedures of the Chicago Area
Alternative Education League. Students will have the opportunity to
participate in a different sport each quarter
Health and Fitness
-
Fit for Life is an
optional physical education class offered to girls at Indian Plains
High School. There are three components to the class: classroom
activities and instruction, the Eola Center Fitness workout program,
and time spent on nutrition. Before or after returning from each
activity, time is spent in class reflecting on individual student's
workout, fitness plan, and goals. In addition, lessons may be
presented addressing such topics as nutrition, wellness and
self-esteem.
