C.A.A.E.L. Athletics
C.A.A.E.L.(Chicago Area Alternative Education League) is a organized and funded league consisting of a wide variety of alternative schools in the Chicagoland area. The goals of the program are:
  • To provide positive alternative activities for at-risk students
  • To develop successful peer relationships
  • To promote sportsmanship
  • To build camaraderie between students and staff
Indian Plains students participate in the following C.A.A.E.L. activities:
  • Flag Football
  • Volleyball
  • Chess
  • Basketball
  • 16-inch Softball
Other Activities
Students at Indian Plains are also eligible to participate in extracurricular activities at their respective home high schools.
